Yesterday we posted about riding every ride at WDW in one day. Aside from the horse drawn carriage ride at Magic Kingdom, the hardest part of this challenge is going to be riding the newest rides at the park. Everybody wants to try the new rides, especially if you are a returning guest and the ride didn't exist during your last stay. So in order to achieve the challenge - or even if you aren't doing the challenge - if you want to maintain your sanity and not stand in line for half the day, you have to bit the bullet and have an early day during your vacation. Currently the "must do" ride at Disney World is Pandora's Flights of Passage at Animal Kingdom. Getting a fastpass for this ride is all but impossible, so the best strategy to get on this new and amazing ride is to get to the park early. I mean an hour before the park is scheduled to open. We did this on our last visit and it worked out perfectly well. We were exiting the ride just as the park was "officially" open. Remember that they usually open the park 15 - 20 minutes earlier than the posted time, so you are really only showing up 30-40 minutes before actual park opening. To see what the experience is like, check out this video by one of our fellow Disney Bloggers: One of the best parts of an early day at one of Orlando's theme parks is that you don't feel bad taking off around 2:00 pm and heading back to your home base for a nap, swim and a day at the resort pool. We know that you would enjoy all of these activities if you are staying at our Encore Resort at Reunion vacation rental villa with a private pool and hot tub spa. Nap in one of our Disney themed bedrooms, enjoy a fun game in our Star Wars Games Room, or head to the resort water park to enjoy some sliding and splashing. The fun doesn't have to end just because you left the park. Enjoy all Orlando and the Encore Club have to offer!
